I like “weird” spirits.
The stuff that most people have never heard of and the stuff that’s maybe a bit hard to find at the corner liquor store is my cup of…well…booze.
When I say weird, I don’t mean that in a bad way; I mean it in the nicest way possible. Maybe I should say “different” or “off the beaten path” but weird just seems to work the best.
Agwa de Bolivia is a liquor made of coca leaves and in my book, that makes it a “weird” liquor.

Hugs or drugs for Hingis?
I’m on a serious sugar-high right now because of my caramel macchiato. But it isn’t anything to what Martina Hingis was accused of doing. I know the coffee bean is right up there with cocaine, but at the end of the day, the cocaine is going to trump coffee every time for a good-time high.
Earlier today, Hingis went on the record and announced she had been accused by an “outsource testing company” of taking cocaine during Wimbledon. Hingis lost in the third round to Laura Granville, 6-4, 6-2.
