It’s time for another coffee break!
I don’t know about you, but I could use some end of summer motivation! So I rounded up some articles that provided encouraging advice:
I found this inspiring article asking Why do We Blog? Because We Care! on Mediasauce.
And I found this practical and reassuring article explaining What to Do When Your Work is Criticized Publicly on Web Worker Daily.

I thought I’d change the focus in this week’s Coffee Break from articles to ebooks. Since I’ve been writing recently about turning old blog posts into ebooks, I thought it might be nice to take a look at a few:
The 2nd Edition Encyclopedia of Free Online Advertising, 2007, by Luke W Parker. At 79 pages, this book is quite long for a free book – and it is chock full of information written in an easy to read A-Z format. (hint: putting your information in a sequenced format (A-Z or 1-10) makes it easier for you to write and easier for your …read more

I thought this week I’d share with you some posts that talk about the challenges of blogging.
First up is a short article about the lonely struggles of starting a business blog, when you can feel like you are talking to an empty room: Dealing with the Bad Side of Business Blogging.
Second is another quick read …read more

It’s good information for a business to be aware of Before you are a victim of attack – so you can Respond rather than React.
The second is also full of good observations, shared in a fun way by Michael Martine of Remarkablogger. Michael asks What Smurf are You on Your Blog? and gives you some advice on how …read more

Extra! Extra! Read all about it!!
In this week’s Coffee Break, we take a look at the daily papers to find out what’s been going on in the online world of business.
The big news in the Wall Street Journal is that not only did Microsoft’s Bid to takeover at Yahoo! Each article I selected provides quite a bit of food for thought – so take your time, sip your coffee, and consider how their advice could benefit your goals of blogging for your business.
The first article I’d like to share is from Marketing Sherpa. It’s an interview with John Jantsch of Duct Tape Marketing and includes real-life advice for how to pitch to a blogger like John. It contains …read more
