Coldplay Heading to “The Simpsons”

Over the show’s 20 seasons, The Simpsons have welcomed many musical guest stars and now the yellow-tinged cartoon versions of Coldplay will get their turn. According to MTV, the British musicians will put on a private show for Homer and Bart.
The episode will air during the upcoming 21st season of The Simpsons (no air date has been announced) when Homer wins a million dollars playing the lottery only to squander it on the private concert.

Coldplay Accused of Plagiarism… Again!

It seems the song “Viva La Vida” is so good that everyone wants to claim it. This time, Cat Stevens, is alleging that Coldplay plagiarized his some “Foreigner Suite,” according to Britain’s Sun newspaper. “There’s been this argument about Coldplay stealing this melody from Joe Satriani, but, if you listen to it, it’s mine!” says Stevens. “It’s the ‘Foreigner Suite.’ “

Coldplay Giving Away Free CDs on Tour

British group, Coldplay, is giving away an exclusive live CD away to all of the fans who come out to see them on their Viva La Vida tour this summer. The CD titled LeftRightLeftRightLeft will also be available as a free download during the same time period through their official website.
