A Letter to Anthony Morelli

Dear Anthony Morelli,
I bet your weekend sucks, but let me be the first to assure you that you have not disappointed your Penn State fans. After all, this is what we expected of you. We know better to to believe that you wouldn’t choke during this game, one of the most important of the system. You may have been suffering from an inflated ego since your team pounded the last three opposing teams, but we knew better. We knew that this game marked the first “real” game of the season. Beating Jimmy Clausen and his pathetic line isn’t really …read more

Upset of the Week: Louisville is PWND

I’d image today that Syracuse (players…fans…coaches…the whole damn city) is hungover. The game was a travesty for the Cardinals, starting with a 79-yard touchdown run by Taj Smith …read more

No one’s saying what said incident entailed, but we do know that linebacker Geno Hayes (pictured above, mid-air) and fullback Joe Surratt were arrested early Friday. Both are upperclassman players, so I doubt the charges were underage drinking. It’s more likely that they got into a fight with other bar-goers who mentioned their opening loss to Clemson during week one.
Will this effect the outcome of their game this weekend? No, because …read more
