KFC Gives $1.5M in College Scholorships

When you think of KFC, you probably think of good eats. However, perhaps you should also start thinking about college scholarships. Recently, KFC gave its fourth class of students a total of $1.5 million in college scholarships.
Of more than 150,000 applicants to KFC’s 2009 Colonel’s Scholars Program, the fried chicken giant selected 75 high school seniors. KFC says that the students were selected based on their impact to their schools and communities, in addition to their financial needs.
