Pushing Yourself to Workout

Dedication to your workout usually hits a plateau at some point or another. I like working out but I hit lulls after legitimate rest periods which parlay into 3-4 days off at one time. I hit chest, triceps, and shoulder today, but almost skipped. I had been lazy all day and there was no reason not to exercise so I eventually forced myself to the gym.

When Weightlifting was Pure

When I first started lifting weights at the age of 16, I was determined to get strong. My friend and I started lifting one summer in his garage and we were out there every morning, lifting the same exercises over and over again. I just wish I had known that muscles needed more rest than a night’s sleep.
