Do you conduct customer surveys for your small business? I think customer surveys are a great way to get inside your customer’s head and figure out what they’re thinking. You can learn more about their wants and needs, and how your company can serve them. After all, your small business is all about the customer, or at least it should be.

A business owner asked me about a new product she was considering selling, something that current customers as well as new ones might want.  She said, “What do you think?  Will my customers like this?”  I’m the wrong person to be asking.  She needs to ask her customers, since they are the ones doing the buying.
