Haze four-player coop demo coming today?

According to CVG, Sony will launch a Haze demo on PSN later today. The big question: is this four-player coop demo for real? Last time we heard of such news rumors, it was the Spanish PS3 website that supposedly showed the announcement. Well, this tale was unceremoniously quashed thanks to Babel Fish.
Until I see with my own eyes this actual Haze demo, I’ll take it with a grain of salt. Of course, my skepticism won’t stop me from hanging around PSN all day for any updates.

Unfortunately, the PC gamers won’t be able to get a taste of Crysis on said date. According to CVG, the demo will be available on October 26 instead. Why the delay?

Crytek and EA reasoned that they’re “taking some extra …read more

Valve bans Bioshock in their offices

Why, you ask? Aren’t developers supposed to play other companies’ games if they want to make good games of their own? Of course. Just ask any marquee developer, and they’ll tell you that they play other makers’ games.

But when your office is stuck in crunch time because your team is feverishly working on a couple of games that’s scheduled for release in a couple of months, then the decision to ban one of the best shooters ever made is beginning to make a lot of sense.

Valve big kahuna Gabe Newell told CVG that they had to ban Bioshock …read more
