First, let me say that I think Stephen Colbert is hilarious, and I love to watch Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show followed by Stephen Colbert’s The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. So I might be biased when I say I love that Stephen Colbert might run for President of the United States.
Last night, Stephen Colbert announced on The Colbert Report that he will run for President in his home state of South Carolina, and he hopes to get on both the Democratic and Republican ballots. No one knows how serious he actually is and how far this will actually go, [...]
Post from: EveryJoe

First, let me say that I think Stephen Colbert is hilarious, and I love to watch Jon Stewart’s The Daily Show followed by Stephen Colbert’s The Colbert Report on Comedy Central. So I might be biased when I say I love that Stephen Colbert might run for President of the United States.

Last night, Stephen Colbert announced on The Colbert Report that he will run for President in his home state of South Carolina, and he hopes to get on both the Democratic and Republican ballots. No one knows how serious he actually is and how far this will actually go, but it’s fun nevertheless and certainly gives Stephen Colbert’s brand an extra boost.

Already the online buzz is going strong about Stephen Colbert’s announcement, and both Colbert and The Colbert Report are sure to get a great deal of attention from it.

Perhaps Stephen Colbert won’t be able to change the country (although you never know), but he’ll certainly inject some interest into his brand and give us all some laughs along the way.

What do you think of Stephen Colbert for President?
