Dan Hawkins, the head coach of Colorado is full of recruiting regrets in regards to one of the teams’ quarterbacks. That’s pretty harsh, considering that said quarterback is his son, Cody. The player has already been benched for not performing as well as expected, so it’s gotta be hard to here that his dad wishes he would have never recruited him…

The Buffaloes aren’t closely followed by most college football fans. They have just as spirited of a quarterback competition going on as any of the major schools, though. What makes this interesting to me, though, is that head coach Dan Hawkins is the father of the guy who has been starting for Colorado so far in 2009.
