CICI’S PIZZA: Save a Store, They’ll Waive the Fee

The franchisor of CiCi’s Pizza is waiving the $25,000 franchise fee for managers or franchisees willing to take over a failing store.
Thanks to a new incentive program aimed at keeping up to 25 CiCi’s Pizza units from closing next year, franchisees and managers who want to take ownership of a struggling unit won’t have to pay the usual $25,000 franchise fee.
According to Craig Moore, president and chief executive of CiCi Enterprises LP, as many as 25 of the company’s 640 restaurants are struggling to keep their doors open.
