PayPal Alternative Raises $4 Million

Moneta, a startup PayPal alternative, recently revealed that they raised $4 million. With the money, which is based in Atlanta, Georgia, the company will hire more employees.
Instead of utilizing PayPal or a credit card, online consumers can pay directly from their bank account. Moneta says that their model offers more security, more privacy, more convenient and will appeal to those people who live a debt-free lifestyle.
Moneta has been around for only about a year but already has a few impressive partners including Delta Airlines and ShoeBuy.com.
