In the 2009 NBA Draft, the player who seemingly no NBA scout can agree on is DeMar DeRozan. Some scouts believe that he’s all hype and will be a bust, while other scouts think DeRozan is the closest thing this draft has to Kobe Bryant.
Just by looking at him, he looks like an NBA player. DeRozan has good size, great athleticism, explosive quickness and he’s very fluid on the move. Also, he has long been a top-flight prospect and has played well in multiple situations.

If you’re someone like Maryland, St. Mary’s, Baylor or Penn State, all you needed was for Arizona State to beat USC for the Pac-10 championship, and your chances of getting to the Big Dance were looking good.

The Post O.J. Mayo Era Begins For USC

DeMar DeRozan, a 6-foot-6 inch, 200 pound small forward out of Compton High School in California will be academically eligible to play for the USC Trojans next season. DeRozan became eligible with his overall grade point average and recent ACT scores and is ready to enroll in summer classes.
DeRozan, a McDonalds All-American, who was also the event’s Slam Dunk Champion, was a beast for Compton last season averaging 29 points and 8 rebounds a game.
