Will Big Ben Play Following Concussion?

Although Ben Roethlisberger has practiced all week, there is growing speculation that he may not be able to play in Week 12 against the Baltimore Ravens. Last week, Big Ben suffered a concussion — which was reportedly the fourth of his career.
If Roethlisberger can’t play, the Pittsburgh Steelers will be in a lot of trouble. Not only would they be missing their starting quarterback, but their backup quarterback (Charlie Batch) will miss the game due to a wrist injury. That would leave Dennis Dixon as the starting quarterback.

Duck, duck, duck, goo… Wildcat? Oregon – Arizona

Is this really the “year of the duck”? Oregon was ranked #2 going into tonight’s game, but now, at halftime, the Ducks are losing to #8 ranked Arizona. The Wildcats have a lot of fans tonight – basically any team ranked 3-7 is routing for Oregon to lose to their rank will increase, giving some teams bowl chances – maybe even National Championship chances.
Currently, Oregon is down by 17 points. The score going into halftime is 31-17 in Arizona’s favor.

Rivals.com is holding a fan poll for the Heisman. Personally, I think that it’s too early to get good poll results, but whatever. They also only list five choices, and while these players might be the front runners this week, who knows what will happen this weekend during the games.
