The Taking of Pelham 123 opens in theaters across North America today. The film has a decent cast which might be enough to overcome this incredibly awkward title (yes, I know it’s a remake of the original 1974 film adaptation but the title is still very cumbersome).
The movie stars Denzel Washington as Walter Garber, a New York City subway dispatcher/chief detective of the Transit Authority. He seems to be having a fairly routine day until armed men hijack the Subway 6 train and demand $10 million in ransom for their safe release.

If you’re planning a trip to L.A. and want to get a glimpse of some hot celebs, forget those star maps and head to a Lakers Game instead. When the Lakers played the Houston Rockets recently (and won, btw, 111-82), the following stars were spotted in the audience:
