		<description><![CDATA[Yesterday I wrote on a potential roadblock for the online poker community.  Today, the latest news is murky with conflicting stories published as recent as 15 hours ago.  What does seem to be consistent is that PokerStars and FTP echecks are out of luck as of right now.  Here is a particularly dire echeck update from Gambling Online Magazine.
Interestingly enough, neither PokerStars or FullTilt has issued any statement on their homepage.  In fact, I don&#8217;t see anything anywhere.  Then again, Absolute and UltimateBet are walking right past the elephant in the room as well.

<p>This bloggers advice is to stay clear of depositing any more money in online poker until the dust settles on what appears to be the federal government freezing echecks with the two largest poker sites.  More information should be released in the coming weeks so I recommend waiting until there is an official word.  Looks like the poker sites are holding their breath too.</p>
