Digital frame makes it easy to connect

Digital photo frames are a hot item this holiday season, and more and more, we’re seeing clever new twists on the concept that add netbook-like functions to the device. eStarling has announced a new version of its frame that adds the ability to receive video via WiFi in mere seconds.

The WPF-588 eStarling 802.11n Touchscreen Connected Digital Frame (yeesh, mouthful much?) comes with a unique Gmail address to be used for sending and receiving digital media. What sets it apart is its 9″ LCD screen, which can display photos from a CD, SD card, or the MW-10’s own 4GB of internal memory. When …read more

It stores up to 2,000 photos on its 1GB of memory, and displays them on a 7″ LCD screen. A nice touch is that you can do a lot more than just print the photos in their original format. You can edit …read more

Best. Alarm clock. Ever.

If Heaven has an alarm clock, then surely it looks like this. (As we all know, alarm clocks are of-the-Devil and crafted by Satan’s minions in some vile sub-basement of Hell, so of course Heaven can’t possibly have them… but just go with me here.) No matter what your definition of cool, Sony’s ICF-CL75iP has to fit the bill. As long as Sony comes up with a better name for it before release, anyway.

What you’re looking at is an alarm clock, digital photo frame, and iPod/iPhone dock all in one oh-so-sleek package. It sports a 7″ color LCD screen, 1GB …read more
