DV Camcorders: Try Before You Buy

I see a lot of the “Flip” video HDDV and DV recorders that take pictures and digital video and I look at the price and I’m just baffled that anyone would opt to buy one of these. I’m baffled because of a few things.
The price of some of these digital video “Camcorders” as they are often called look affordable. They look affordable but often do not take very good quality video.
