Wow, Christmas sure is coming up quickly, and in one week from today we’ll all be busy opening up gifts that are hopefully video game related. But if you can’t wait, treat yourself to one of the many PSN titles that will be hitting the network in today’s update.
Home has been updated, which should help alleviate some of the connection issues people were having. The update also includes the much needed addition of beards, but temporarily removes any form of voice chat. Compromises.

The fighting genre has seen somewhat of a resurgence lately, with games like Soul Calibur IV and Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix bringing people back into the virtual ring. The holidays are a time for giving, so if you’re able, make sure to give what you can to Child’s Play. This charity, run by the wonderful folks over at Penny Arcade, helps provide kids in hospitals across the world with games and toys to help them get through a tough time in their lives.
