Double Fine Creates Weirdest Mini-Games Known to Man

I always thought that Double Fine Games was just a little bit… shall we say… “eclectic”. I mean, you just have to take a look at their website to know that there’s just something wrong with that production company. And then if you look deeper into Tim Shaefer’s random and off the wall news posts, then you definitely see that the company’s president must have been dropped on his head one too many times as a child.
So, with that, I introduce to you Double Fine’s very own new Mini-Games. And it’s as weird as you’d expect. The …read more

It’s a Double Fine Christmas

There are a lot of people out there that are super talented, especially when it comes to making crafty things like Christmas tree ornaments. My Christmas tree ornaments? All bought from the store. I mean, I’ve made my mom a couple of ornaments when I was a wee lass, but let’s just say that the quality was far from… well, quality work. My creative genes… well, let’s just say one of my brothers got all of those genes.
That’s why I like looking at stuff OTHER people have done, because it always turns out way better. The good …read more

Brutal Legend Swag

Double Fine’s new game Brutal Legend isn’t even out yet, but that shouldn’t stop a company from trying to make lots of money anyways by selling swag! Hell, if I had swag, I’d try to sell it and I don’t even have a game thought up on the horizon. I’d just put out some random crap that really has nothing to do with anything. And that’s why I would never make any money selling my own swag.
But, Double Fine has both the guts and the balls to sell whatever their little heart desires. Why? Because people like the games …read more

Australian IGN Gets Tim Schafer Interview

How does the Australian IGN get lucky enough to do an interview with Tim Schafer? Or could it be that Tim Schafer is too good to do an interview with the US version of IGN? Maybe that’s it. Maybe he really wishes he was just an Aussie, because he thinks they’re cool or something. Well, Tim, they’re not. Us Americans are way cooler than the Australians. Why? Because we drive on the right hand side of the road. Unlike the Aussies, who obviously drive on the left. And that’s a problem for me and …read more

Sierra – Looks like an adventure – Brutal Legend

Is Sierra Games going back to their roots of adventure games? I dunno, but with their new involvement with Double Fine Games, who happens to make adventure games, they just might be. Sierra, known for such great hits as Leisure Suit Larry, King’s Quest and Space Quest has teamed up with Double Fine to publish their new game, Brutal Legend. And now they have a website for the new game.
The website is pretty bad assed, with rock n’ roll music that will sooth the savage of beasts. There’s also a lot of cool shiz to click …read more

The game will be out sometime in 2008 (duh) and the trailer says there’s a website, but when you check out BrutalLegend.com, nothing comes up. EVIL.
