Do You Love Or Hate Microsoft

Mike Abundo at Emerging Earth, just shared his opinion about Microsoft and why nobody’s giving up the love for the big softie. I’ve got to say that I’m not sure if I could categorize my feelings for Microsoft as “love”, but I can tell you I appreciate what they’ve allowed and equipped me to do professionally.
For instance, I’ve gotten far more frustrated (so has this guy) trying to use a Mac than I have a PC in quite awhile. I just ditched Adobe/Macromedia Dreamweaver in favor of Visual Web Developer Express 2005.

Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition

Okay I’m trying this again folks. I’ve downloaded and am currently installing Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition on my computer.
I’ve been pounding away at a client application I’m developing and have been very happy using Dreamweaver 8 for everything I’m working on for the project. I’ve been using Macromedia Dreamweaver since version 2.0 and have always done the Dreamweaver / Fireworks together.

Will Expression be Dreamweaver’s Nightmare?

Microsoft will be releasing their latest attempt to take over some market share from Adobe’s Dreamweaver. This release will first be going to developers as a Community Technology Preview (CTP). I’m not a part of that group, so I won’t be able to give you any hands-on feedback of the tool.
