Drew Gooden Joins the Mavericks

According to multiple sources, including the man himself, Drew Gooden is headed to the Dallas Mavericks. After playing with the Chicago Bulls, Sacramento Kings and San Antonio Spurs last season, Gooden will join yet another team.
With the Mavs, Gooden has a chance to play a lot of minutes. In fact, he will likely be given a chance to win the starting center job ahead of Erick Dampier. Even if he doesn’t start, Gooden will likely play the minutes that Brandon Bass took the last couple of seasons.

Drew Gooden wasted no time creating his first poster as a member of the Chicago Bulls. Playing in his first game after being traded by the Cleveland Cavaliers, Gooden dunked all over Yao Ming. Watch this YouTube if you have any doubts.
Yao is no stranger to getting dunked on but that was embarrassing even on Yao standards. Although I have to say that Gooden losing a lot of style points for that horrendous looking beard he has going on. It’s like a Chia Pet died on his face.
