Bell Canada doesn’t understand–Canadians want better Internet access

The ongoing saga of Bell Canada and their data throttling is getting even more interesting now as Bell has told the CRTC to, essentially, buzz off and let us do as we wish:
The CRTC on March 3 reiterated that third-party companies should continue to be able to rent telephone companies’ networks in order to provide their own customers with phone and internet services. The regulator considered this network access as essential for smaller companies to offer their services, and for some of them to survive.

Ouch Bell Canada Throttles Bandwidth Without Telling Resellers: Customer Service nightmare

The news floating around over the past 24 hours has been the news that Bell Canada has been “traffic shaping” aka throttling bandwidth on their DSL service.
Okay, this isn’t great, but okay it’s their pipe, right?  Close, but there is a twist, Bell Canada sells access to the pipe to other ISPs (Telus does the same thing) and neglected to inform the resellers of this little detail:
