The Lions played the Cleveland Browns and were destroyed. A lot of fans forget this was a 10 – 6 Browns team a couple of years ago and have pretty much upgraded their roster since then. A ton of things went wrong last year for the Browns to go 4 – 12. They are a good team. Nobody is saying great, but right now a good team is capable of blowing the Detroit Lions right off the field.

Did Byron Leftwich get too big for Coach Jack Del Rio and the Jacksonville Jaguars?
Don’t you always wonder about a player when he is available and no one jumps on him?
Like when David Carr wanted out of Houston or Josh McCown wanted out of Detroit or Culpepper wanted out of Miami.
Quickly you will remark, “He must be no good”.
But Byron was available.
The Bears did not take him.
The Raiders looked past him.
The Lions did not try to get him as a backup.
