Donte Stallworth Released from Jail

Donte Stallworth, the wide receiver currently under contract with the Cleveland Browns, was released from jail on Friday. His release came after spending 24 days in the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami, Florida.
Stallworth received his jail sentence after reaching a plea dea on DUI manslaughter. In March, Stallworth hit and killed a pedestrian later identified as Mario Reyes. Tests found that Stallworth’s blood-alcohol level was over the legal limits in the state of Florida.
Currently suspended indefinitely by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell, many league experts believe that the 28-year-old wide receiver wil never play in the league again. Last …read more
Jim Leyritz Arrested Again

Jim Leyritz is either a criminal or very unlucky. Already awaiting a DUI manslaughter trial, Leyritz was arrested on Thursday for allegedly battering his ex-wife. The incident took place in South Florida near the city of Fort Lauderdale.
Since he was free on bail, the judge removed that bail after this latest charge. Leyritz now remains behind bars.
In the DUI manslaughter case, Leyritz was allegedly under the influence of alcohol when he got in a vehicle incident that resulted in a death. His trail for that charge is more than two months away.
