[Source]

And according to the survey among all respondents the Appeal level of E-books

09% Very Appealing

30% Appealing

35% Unappealing

26% Very Unappealing

[Source]

The survey was commissioned by the law firm Wiggins, which work exclusively in the media sector and whose clients include Al Jazeera, Bauer, BBC Films, the British Phonographic Industry, BT, Channel4, Columbia Pictures, Condé Nast, Five, HBO, Macmillan, Manchester United FC, Paramount Pictures , Sony Computer Entertainment, Time Warner Books,Trinity Mirror, 20th Century Fox Film Corp,Virgin Media and Warner Brothers.

The survey was done by Entertainment Media Research a research consultancy for entertainment and music. The consultancy was set up in 1997, by the former Head of Music Information at MTV Europe, specifically to monitor study the digital entertainment revolution.

The survey was conducted on-line and involved 1608 UK residents.

You can see the pdf version of the report here.

So it seems that in the UK the Book is still winning and the e-book and Kindle has some catching up to do. I wonder if this is the same through out the world?
