Rare Starbucks Mug Sold for $2,020 on eBay
According to a report on eBay guru Skip McGrath’s blog, a rare 1994 Starbuck’s Minneapolis mug has sold for $2,020. The photo above is from the actual listing, item #290269099902.
The auction had 34 bids and ended on October 24. So if you are a Starbuck’s mug collector, and the bad economy is taking its toll on you, now may be the time to list those mugs on eBay. Apparently, some folks still have thousands of dollars lying around to spend on a coffee mug!

Get Your 2008 Olympics Michael Phelps Items on eBay!
I’ve really enjoyed watching the Olympics this week, and Michael Phelps’ quest for making olympic gold history. As of this writing, there are 370 items on eBay matching the key words “Michael Phelps.” These items range from magazines, photos, t-shirts, license plates, calendars, and autographed items. (Note – some of these items are obviously key word spam – they are Mark Spitz items!)
So this begs the question, should collectors hold on to the Michael Phelps items until after the olympics are over, or offer them now?

Collectible Item to Sell on eBay – Hull Little Red Riding Hood Cookie Jar
Collectibles can bring big money on eBay, but you have to know what you are doing. I have some personal knowledge about this item, the Hull Little Red Riding Hood cookie jar. I have my grandmother’s cookie jar in my home, and my mother always told me it was valuable. I won’t ever sell it because it has great sentimental value and reminds me of my childhood. My mother gave this cookie jar to my grandmother for her birthday in 1948. It still has the Maas Brothers price tag on the bottom. Once I became involved in eBay selling, I …read more
