Shopflick.com is an online marketplace that doesn’t just post pictures and descriptions of products, they also allow sellers to incorporate video to enhance the shopping experience. Additionally, the website utilizes several social and interactive components.
Like eBay or Etsy, Shopflick doesn’t hold their own inventory. They match buyers with sellers, collecting transaction fees. Shopflick charges a 12.5% fee on items sold (that’s pretty steep!). They may begin to charge a $9.95/month fee for opening a store, but currently, there’s no fee with store registration or listings. The company is led by CEO David Grant who was President at FOX TV Studios.
