Ted Kennedy, the early years.

Edward Moore (Teddy)  Kennedy was born on February 22, 1932, the 9th, and youngest, child of Massachusetts businessman, Joseph Patrick Kennedy, Sr. and Rose Fitzgerlad Kennedy.
His older brother, Jack, who was 15, asked to be the new baby’s godfather.
The Kennedy children: Joe, Jr., Jack (John F.), Rosemary, Kathleen, Eunice, Patricia, Robert, Jean and Teddy grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts.

When Teddy was 6, Joseph Kennedy (Sr.) was named Ambassdor to the Court of St. James, and Teddy spent the next years 2 in England as World War II broke out.
