Is it National Brawl for the Camera Week or something? First the WNBA’s LA Sparks and Detroit Shock cleared the benches, and now a minor league team in Ohio played pigpile.
Tempers rose and fists flew between the Dayton Dragons and Peoria Chiefs of the Midwest League yesterday, with a whopping 15 players ejected along with two managers. It gets worse: Chiefs pitcher Julio Castillo had the judgment lapse of his life when a ball he threw at the Dragons’ dugout ended up injuring a fan instead.
