All good things must come to an end, I guess. David Beckham has announced that he and Pepsi are no longer affiliated.
***sniff snifff***
Okay, I admit, I LOVED the David Beckham commercials with Pepsi.  Loved the creativity and variety of them.  David himself said, &#8220;I have nothing but good memories of my association with Pepsi. I&#8217;ve played a gladiator, a cowboy, a surfer, and worked alongside Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez as well as some of the biggest names in world football.&#8221;

<p>All good things must come to an end, I guess. <strong><a href="http://www.beckhamgroupie.com/">David Beckham</a></strong> has announced that he and <strong>Pepsi </strong>are no longer affiliated. </p>
<p><em>***sniff snifff***</em></p>
<p>Okay, I admit, I LOVED the <strong>David Beckham</strong> commercials with <strong>Pepsi</strong>. Loved the creativity and variety of them. David himself <a href="http://www.hindu.com/thehindu/holnus/007200812271140.htm">said</a>, &#8220;I have nothing but good memories of my association with Pepsi. I&#8217;ve played a gladiator, a cowboy, a surfer, and worked alongside Beyonce and Jennifer Lopez as well as some of the biggest names in world football.&#8221;</p>
<p>I think the Pepsi commercials showed us that David would be great in a little feature flick. (Or perhaps they just showed <em>me </em>that!) </p>
<p>Anywho, this little &#8220;breakup&#8221; with Pepsi seems very amicable. They were together TEN YEARS though so I&#8217;m sure David is grieving the loss a little bit. At least he has the warmth of his loving wife <strong>Victoria </strong>to help him out. (She won&#8217;t be smiling, but she&#8217;ll be supportive. She might even give him a hug. Who knows.)</p>
<p>To commemorate the end of the Beckham/Pepsi era, here are my favorite commercials featuring the hunky soccer dude. </p>
<p>This one showed Beckham walking to the locker room and drinking a Pepsi. A <strong>little boy</strong> follows him and then <strong>asks for his shirt</strong>. It&#8217;s a touching scene, and then turns to humor as the kid takes the shirt, wipes off the can of Pepsi, and gives the shirt back. It&#8217;s funny and sweet &#8211; how could we resist?</p>
<p><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MahL0Q1dPX8&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MahL0Q1dPX8&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></p>
<p>This commercial shows <strong>Beckham </strong>as part of a fuse ball game. Haven&#8217;t we all wondered what it would be like to be one of the little fuse ball dudes? After a few beers? When we&#8217;ve been really bored? </p>
<p><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/np63jZVtP_w&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/np63jZVtP_w&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></p>
<p>This is the infamous <strong>surfing </strong>commercial, with some very cool scenes of Beckham surfing and playing soccer. (With a little help from some special effects, of course.)</p>
<p><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/wznTsv4JrNA&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/wznTsv4JrNA&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></p>
<p>This commercial, however, has to the best one ever. It features Beckham with <strong><a href="http://www.beyonce-k.com/">Beyonce </a>and <a href="http://www.jlostalker.com/">Jennifer Lopez</a></strong>. The commercial just begs for a J-Lo and Beyonce team up somehow, either in a music video, duet, or movie. (Wouldn&#8217;t that be great.) Beckham really isn&#8217;t even a factor in this commerical &#8211; it&#8217;s all about the ladies!</p>
<p><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/sltiPQ_uNeU&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/sltiPQ_uNeU&#038;hl=en&#038;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></p>

Well the bad economy has hurt everyone these days. Even super-rich golfers.
Have you heard that Tiger Woods isn&#8217;t doing anymore car ads? His deal with General Motors is now kaput. As a result he&#8217;s decided that ~ GASP ~ he won&#8217;t be a spokesperson anymore for car companies because &#8220;there&#8217;s too much uncertainty in the industry, too volatile right now.&#8221; ~source
So what&#8217;s a Tiger to do? Will he EVER find another endorsement deal?
(Methinks he&#8217;ll probably be okay.)
