The long-time friends built what may seem like a quirky addition to the hybrid car family, but they’re proving the technology can stand up to the roughest real-use standards available.

Jennifer over at Tree Hugging Family gave away a book for the holidays, and yours truly was a winner! :) We’re a very gadget-y family as it is, so we definitely need some help in the downsizing dept.

I’m very interested to see which direction their garage will be headed. I’m thinking there will be a plug-in for an electric hybrid, but … we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, if I won this baby and sold my current house, I would put a charging station out there if it didn’t exist … then I’d buy one of those No More Gas models to use it. :D

There is a sentiment growing that a special license or permit be established for drivers of these vehicles requiring some proof that a large, gas guzzling, air polluting vehicle is really necessary for you to live your life day-to-day. Similar, I suppose, to a handicap parking permit.
