Sega Kills Aliens Game

If you were around in the 80’s then you probably know and love the Aliens series [let's not talk about Alien Resurrection]. If you’re a hardcore fan then you might have heard that Sega was in talks with Obsidian to make an Alien RPG.
While the rumors were true, it’s been announced in EuroGamer that the game has been killed and that fact has also been confirmed by Giant Bomb.

Don’t believe everything you read in the internet, even if they came from so-called reputable game websites like GameSpot, GameSpy, IGN, or Eurogamer. The reviews they’re churning aren’t always as “spot-on” as people say they are.

Case in point: The previously-released reviews for Gears of War’s PC version.

UT3 for the PS3 <i>might</i> launch this year, but Europe gets no love

We all know that PC gamers are getting Unreal Tournament 3 this very month, but the release date for the Playstation 3 version remains tentative. Mark Rein, vice president at Epic Games, told Eurogamer that the chances of getting the PS3 version this year is still pretty good.

“Right now we’re very close to a release candidate, and we should have it finished by the end of this week. Then we send it off and it’s just a matter of what happens from there.”
