Exelon Corp. Joins Commerce Chamber Expats

Power company Exelon Corp. is now officially the next company to join the list of disgruntled companies quitting the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. A significant amount of companies have already left the chamber, complaining about its stance on federal climate-change legislation that could potentially have a negative impact on several of these companies’ business.
Exelon, the nation’s biggest nuclear power plant operator, left the chamber in much the same fashion as the other power companies dissenting from the Chamber of Commerce, highlighting a growing divide between American power companies and the government.
