TechRepublic has an interesting review of the Windows Vista Virtual Folders: “Virtual Folders is one component of Vista’s new information visualization, organization, and search features. MS trying the step user interface?

Oh my god, it looks like Microsoft is toying with a “Step User Interface”. This was demo’ed at TechFest last week. It’s like Dance Dance Revolution meets Windows Explorer. I hope this one never makes it to the store shelves! But that’s no concern to Microsoft, which spends billions of dollars a e year researching far-out technologies without worrying about whether the gizmos will ever make it to store shelves.
