The newest version of Fame is hitting the big screen today and I guess I’m not completely surprised by the release of this movie, considering the popularity of shows like So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars, but I’m not sure how much audiences are going to like it.

The new Fame movie comes out at the end of this month so it’s a great time to look back at where it all began.  I really loved the television show as a kid so I might pick up a copy of Fame: The Complete Seasons 1 & 2 which was released earlier this week.

The show followed the lives of the faculty and students at the New York City High School of the Performing Arts and, while it’s heavily based on Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, the events and characters were fictional.

Didn’t this game just come out?!
Evan Wells, of Naughty Dog fame, gave a purty darn honest interview with Three Speech and says that a second game is a sure thing.
“We developed Uncharted as a franchise. The pulp action/adventure genre lends itself perfectly to serialization…even if we don’t do an Uncharted sequel right away, you can pretty much count on us doing one in the near future.”
However, don’t expect the second game anytime soon.
Wells said that “full production on Uncharted lasted almost exactly two years…” along with “…about a year of pre-production”
