FCC Passes New Analog Rules, Act Sooner Than Later

So for those who already have a digital or high def television, you are already in the clear from this story. But for those who have yet to switch over to a digital-capable set, this one is for you. The FCC has passed new rules saying that broadcasters are now able to reduce or kill off their analog signal before the February 17, 2009 deadline. This is honestly a really odd rule that they announced, but if it will push people to switch or buy a converter-box before the deadline, it may help out in the long run.
