It must have felt good for him to come home to see his friends and team mates at Ferrari as he took part in the team activities for the first time in weeks.
The word is Felipe is hoping to return to a Formula One paddock for Match’s Bahrain Grand Prix, which will be the first race of the 2010 Formula One season.

The members of Team McLaren must feel like the sun has finally appeared in the sky above the 2009 Formula One season after they finally made the breakthrough they were looking for in Hungary. They only scored 14 points in the first nine races of the season before heading to Hungary, a total that is no where near the number of points they were expecting to have by this time. They finally made it to the top of the podium in Hungary, after a terrible showing at Silverstone that obviously resulted in them putting their heads together to come to …read more

The 2009 Formula One season has been a downslide for BMW Sauber after a 2008 season that saw them challenge for the championship before finishing second best to Ferrari and McLaren. Obviously, this German-Swiss team was hoping for a better result in 2009 after a pretty good run at the title last year and were hoping to take another step forward in their battle for the championship. Unfortunately, things haven’t worked out as planned for BMW Sauber this year, with only eight points, and no sign of improvement in their car viewable around the corner. It might be time for …read more

Last Sunday’s Monaco Grand Prix was everything expected, thrilling, edge-of-the-seat excitement that had crowds cheering, and vendors and merchants basking in the sun. Ferrari had a much better showing; they have obviously taken steps forward with the car after Spain, and continue to work on performance and reliability. This was Ferrari’s first podium finish of 2009 and a good sign for future races. The Red Bull team was certainly scratching their heads after dropping to third in the Formula One rankings, despite the implementation of their double diffuser. Toyota and BMW Sauber had a frustrating race that left these former …read more

The 2009 Formula One season was looking like it might be a tough year for teams hoping to implement the new rules and regulations in an effective battle against Brawn GP after the Australian Grand Prix. Fans and teams were looking a little more at ease after Friday’s two practice sessions at Sepang as Ferrari and Williams took the lead and set a pace that has them moving closer to competing on an even track with Brawn. Albert Park wasn’t a track made for KERS, but the Malaysian Grand Prix will be run on a track that appears better suited …read more
