Chrysler Fiat Merger Done Deal

A U.S. supreme court judge has okayed the alliance between Chrysler and Italian automaker FIAT. There were previous issues in terms of the allocation of debts incurred by Chrysler but FIAT has agreed to share in the burden.
Chrysler is hoping to gain ground in a partnership with Fiat by producing more fuel-efficient, eco-friendly cars. Fiat has the technology to move forward in this plan and are seemingly better equipped for the task. Chrysler now recognizes the importance of making cars that people will be proud of owning. Super-Mini’s are now finding a market in North America. With the popularity of big Detroit cars on the low, lightweight European cars will find a market here. Like the Spider the new Alfa Romeo MiTo will soon prove to be a hit.
When people think Alfa Romeo, they think of the Spider that made the brand popular. Owned by Italian automaker Fiat (the same company trying to buy Chrysler) the MiTo combines the know how of mini-cars but room and comfort to appease any big American.
