Final Fantasy VIII CD Carrying Case may be just in time to hold your Michael Jackson’s great works which are in shiny CD format. The case contains six sleeves and lets you hold 6 discs but no one says you can’t slot 2 discs into one pocket.

The FF VIII CD case is propelled by zipper, water-resistant and dirt-proof technologies. A metal plate on the front has the “Final Fantasy VIII” logo embedded on it. Two cloth pockets are available to store 2 memory cards. $19.90 at NCSX.

Microsoft had better pay attention! Thomas Hawk is broadly proclaiming his disgust for the experience he’s gone through in patiently waiting for Final Fantasy to be released on Xbox 360 platform only to have the rug pulled out from under him and bait and switched. Mr. Hawk has been known to shut down a business or two with his blog posts. So if any Microsoft reps are reading this, an explanation in comments would be great!

As a consumer, I feel deceived by Microsoft and think that they are using false advertising to promote the game. I never would have spent the up front money in order to buy the game if I knew that it was going to cost me more then $200 to play the game for the next 12 months. Even worse was that I found out after purchasing the game that there was no resale value to the game because only one license is granted to each disc. No where on Amazon’s website is this monthly fee disclosed and nowhere on the box does it tell consumers that they’ll have to pay $14 per month on top of the $60 to play the game.
