Apparently Danica Patrick thought she could practice car racing in a 35 mile per hour zone. She was pulled over for speeding (going 54 in a 35) and given a $196 ticket.
Well… you know how it is. You get a Mercedes (which just happens to be the kind of car she drives by the way) and you’ve got to see what it can do.
Or maybe she was just late for Christmas shopping? Either way, she was supposed to be in court on Monday but then decided to just pay the darn [...]
Post from: EveryJoe

This isn’t the first time she’s been caught for speeding, however. She was ticketed a year ago (for going 57 in a 40) and has received “several” tickets in the “past three years.”

At least she’s keeping up with publicity in between races….

What’s this? A kinder, gentler Randy Moss?
After the Patriots lost to the Colts last night, apparently Randy wasn’t happy with some of the officiating. Fox Sports says that some “of the Pats players thought the pivotal unnecessary roughness call on tight end David Thomas in the fourth quarter was questionable.”
That’s not unusual. Fans and players alike question officials, for right or wrong (or for someone to blame.) But it was Randy’s LACK of complaining that really surprised me. He said, “When things happen, you have to watch what you say. Guys [...]
Post from: EveryJoe

For Randy, this is downright mild. Think he’s trying to soften up and become the LOVABLE Randy Moss? We shall see.

Rocky & Bullwinkle fans might recognize that as a Boris Badinov quote, but the $25K fine the NBA slapped Rasheed Wallace with conveys pretty much the same idea.
Why? Well, the Detroit Pistons forward ripped officials and was a pottymouth to boot following his team’s Eastern Conference Finals Game 5 loss to the Boston Celtics, 106-102. (And we’d be remiss if we didn’t toss in a “Yay Boston!” here).
Of course, Wallace is a well-known trash-talker, ref quarreler, and, as evidenced in the following clip (20s), angry shirt-tosser. This bit is from last year but unintentional slapstick humor—keep your eye on the suit [...]
Post from: EveryJoe
