Why You Shouldn’t Drink and Play with Fire

Kids, this video is a good illustration of why you should NOT drink and play with fireworks at the same time.
I know you’re going to anyway [especially after I've given you so many yummy drink recipes] but be careful.

My Favorite Graphics Programs

I’ve been working with a friend lately trying to find an affordable copy of Adobe Photoshop to be used in coordination with a non-profit’s efforts to do some graphic work. In this case the very talented person would be doing some work for both a church and another faith-based organization associated with a large state university. Graphics and image manipulation is actually one of the largest areas that I’ve consistently not used Microsoft products. You might as well uninstall Paint …read more

Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition

Okay I’m trying this again folks. I’ve downloaded and am currently installing Visual Web Developer 2005 Express Edition on my computer.
I’ve been pounding away at a client application I’m developing and have been very happy using Dreamweaver 8 for everything I’m working on for the project. I’ve been using Macromedia Dreamweaver since version 2.0 and have always done the Dreamweaver / Fireworks together.
However, I’ve found that for this project I’m needing to display images in BLOB format from a SQL server database and I’ve been unsuccessful in finding a component or extension in Dreamweaver that allows me to do …read more
