Windows Live Categories Problem Fixed

One thing I failed to mention in my new review of the Windows Live Writer Technical Preview build was that whatever they’ve done, the update fixed the issues I was having with random categories being cut-off.
It wouldn’t seem that big of a deal at first, but when you’ve got similar categories with the first words very similar it became a real issue when the categories would be cut off at the end of their label.
You couldn’t see if you selected the right category until you checked it.

New Windows Advisor BETA

I just accepted an invitation to participate in a new BETA program. As the name would generally imply, it’s a sort of maintenance and error checking program that continuously runs in the background of Windows.
Here’s Microsoft’s own words about the program:
Windows Advisor is an easy-to-use self-help tool that notifies users about problems on their PCs and helps fix them.
