LG unveils “seamless” LCD TV

LG recently showed off an upcoming new model for its popular line of flatscreen TVs: seamless. That’s right, there’s no frame around the screen.
The SL80 and SL90 models blend the bezel, LCD screen, and speakers into one, solid piece of hardware. The SL90 produces a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio — a new high water mark for LG — and the thing is freakishly thin at just 1.15 inches. It has a 240Hz refresh rate and an ambient light sensor to automatically adjust brightness.
