A New Year’s beer
I’ve been mulling for some time what kind of beer to drink on New Year’s Eve, and I’ve settled on two. Interestingly enough, according to this article beer is now the drink of choice for New Year’s Eve over wine and spirits.
The first is a Belgian Ale, perhaps maybe even a nice flavorful triple. Why? Christmas dinner (with beer!)
Since the holiday season is very much upon us, we here at b5 are working together to provide you with a full menu for Christmas dinner. The menu itself is provided by Tracey at foodie obssessed, and Farley from Behind the Vines will match it with wines. Needless to say, I’ll be matching it with beer.

Last gasp for the late buyer
Ok, this is going to be the last gift post of the year, since if you don’t finish your Christmas shopping today you need to get off the computer and get to the store. Let’s face it, after today no one’s going to deliver anything you order in time for Christmas anyway, so it’s bricks and morter for anything you’ve got left.
