If you thought that Ford pulled out of the minivan market think again. Ford has decided to launch their all new 2010 Ford Transit Connect vehicles in North America. The Transit Connect was designed to be a functional van with the maneuverability of a small car. It was designed with small business owners in mind. You can have the cargo area designed with shelves or hangers for your supplies or tools.
This may not be the van for the suburban family but no longer will a business owner have to decide between a large cargo van or a bulky pickup …read more

Technically a SUV Cross-over, the Escape Hybrid is a great compromise for energy efficient conscience people who don’t want to sacrifice the flexibility only a utility vehicle can bring. And why not get the SUV, the Escape Hybrid is even more efficient than the Ford Fusion Hybrid.

Already in it’s fourth generation the new 2009 Ford Ranger is a light pickup-truck that can get allot done. If you are the type who needs a lightweight reliable vehicle that will get you and your tools to any work-site than this might just be your meal ticket.
Easy on the budget and gas pump, the Ranger appeals to a growing demograph of young working men and women who want to be able to keep more of their paycheck.

Tired of the stereotypical luxury sedan and don’t want to go full SUV than check out the new 2010 Lincoln MKX. Designed after the Ford Edge, the MKX provides luxury with all of the added perks of driving a SUV. Considered a cross-over SUV the MKX is the perfect ride for any executive who loves driving their minivan but wants something more stylish.
Unfortunately the MKX doesn’t have a third row bench seat (a typical feature on a cross-over). Instead Lincoln decided to go with a roomier interior for back seat passengers as well as plenty of trunk space for everyone. …read more

Marked with the distinctive Le Mans stripes, the new 2010 Ford Shelby GT500 is a true racer. The GT500 is powered by Ford’s supercharged and intercooled 5.4-liter 32-valve V8 engine that can deliver 540 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque.
The GT500 put the power back where it should always be in a race car… the back. The rear power gives you the feel of a race car but don’t expect it to handle well on ice or snow. Instead keep this prized car in the garage in the winter and show off it’s beauty in the summer.
The 2010 GT500 features …read more

As much as I love saving energy for the sake of the environment I still can’t resist checking out the biggest looking trucks. And no truck is bigger and better equipped than the 2009 Ford F-Series Super Duty. The Super Duty comes in the available regular Ford or pimped out Cabela & Harley-Davidson designs.
With market research showing that 76% of Super Duty buyers were the hunter/fisher enthusiasts (I could have told them that), Ford decided to change it’s design to better suit the market. Their partnership with Cabela proved successful and have helped Ford boost it’s market sales. The …read more
Ford Taurus Plays With The Big Boys

I wrote a review about the new 2010 Ford Taurus last month and was relatively impressed with the new design. Little did I realize how different this new Taurus is. On a specification sheet the numbers are impressive. However the true genius is revealed out on the road in comparative tests. Self proclaimed as ‘the most innovative full-size sedan in America’ the Taurus is far ahead of the competition. Cars that shouldn’t even be in the same class as the Taurus are green with envy.
Check out these comparative videos Ford is putting out. I promise that after watching these the …read more

When you say Ford most people think truck, and rightly so. After giving up on the minivan market and bombing with the sedans their Trucks are about the only thing keeping Ford alive.

Ford created a special team of investigators to analyze trends being set in motion by Twitter, Facebook and blogs. They believe that they now know why the 2009 Fusion didn’t sell as well as they had hoped and they’ve made some consumer guided changes (its about time).
They are now proud to announce the release of the all new 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid. The car features hybrid technology to offer the driver the best possible fuel mileage which is about 41mpg in the city.
The Fusion falls short as a simple hybrid vehicle but it is a superior sedan that will offer …read more

Ford has decided that they can no longer keep their money draining auto subsidiary Volvo in their fold. So they are in talks of selling to Chinese automakers Geely. Ford has reported that Volvo has been loosing money and that they are better off if sold to foreign investors.
Volvo, I would assume, would be nervous in such an undertaking. Their legendary design and safety ratings have made Volvo a favorite car for some loyal customers. The deal is worth an estimated $20 billion and could get Ford out of the hole and remain afloat a little longer.
Careful planning and …read more
