More Gamers Choosing Game Downloads

Video game executives have been freaking out because they feel that used games are hurting the industry since many people are opting for those instead of the brand-new titles.
Now, it’s being claimed that the used game market is being threatened by game downloads. As one blogger points out, game downloads can’t be resold so it not only hurts the industry but also prevents people from getting some of their money back through trade-ins. That’s a valid argument but I believe there are ways around this.

G.I.R.L.s Get Scholarship from Sony

Sony Online Entertainment LLC announced today the continuation of their popular scholarship program for talented chicks who are “enrolled in an undergraduate program related to video games”.
The award is up-to $10k and will “be applied toward tuition and other educational expenses at the school at which the student is currently enrolled, and an optional paid internship of up to 10 weeks at Sony Online Entertainment’s headquarters in San Diego, California (room, board, transportation and living expenses not included), to work on the upcoming online video game Free Realms™.”
