Yep, I’ll admit it. I would peel the stickers off or completely break it apart to get it solved. The original Rubik’s Cube was all the rage back in the 80’s and now they’ve released a new version fit for the high-tech world we live in now.
The Rubik’s TouchCube brings the fun and challenge of the original Rubik’s Cube to the 21’s century. Using a grid of 45 LED backlit light squares, you can perform every action you could with the original cube, but with no moving parts. And in my case, no stickers or plastic blocks to take apart …read more

Let me warn you right now. This is not an important post at all. There are far more important topics taking place in the computer industry. However, this post I hope will interest a number of people that are as addicted to playing Farm Town on Facebook as I am.
There’s no need for an intervention for me and my enjoyment of Farm Town on Facebook. But my friend, who’s responsible for my joining the game, and I regularly talk about our farms with each other and help each other out with the harvesting and plowing of our fields.
My frustration is …read more

I consider myself a casual gamer. I’ve tried various platforms since I was a kid. I played games on our Commodore 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sega Genesis or Sega Mega Drive, PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PCs and recently the Xbox 360.
Macs are cool machines but it’s not really known for gaming. Over the years it has lagged behind PCs in having the latest and greatest games because of the low percentage of users vs. PC users and the architecture behind the systems. But that’s changing now. Since the Mac transitioned to Intel processors, porting games to the Mac platform is …read more

For people like me who just can’t afford a Nintendo Wii but have a Mac and an iSight, ToySight might just help us get our fix.
ToySight uses the iSight or a firewire camera to put you in the middle of the action. With its bundled games, you use the camera as a control to play. How? You put yourself infront of the camera and reach out and touch buttons, move sliders, etc. The camera tracks your movement and converts this to game movement.
Several games come bundled with ToySight. There’s Skydiver where in you use sliders to control a parachute …read more

I saw this at 99lives. I’ve been dying to get an xbox 360 myself. I’m sure there are tons of Mac users out there who also own one of the very few, great Microsoft devices, the xbox 360. They are a bit disappointed that Mac OS X users are left out with some of the online features of xbox live. But thanks to the great folks at Google, there’s Maclive. It’s not the best software out there in the world. A lot of improvements can be made but hey, it’s a step forward ain’t it? Here’s the description from the …read more

I’m really not a gamer. I mean I play games but I’m not a hardcore gamer that I have to play games everyday. I love games though and I appreciate their value but I really wouldn’t say I’m addicted to gaming. However sometimes there’s a game that I get hooked on. Often times it’s the simple games that get me. Games like Tetris, Bejeweled, etc.. Now it’s Zuma.
A friend of mine introduced me to this game. While it’s been around for a long time already it was the first time I got to play it. Needless to say I got …read more
