It’s been a good news/bad news kind of week for the Buick Open.  Despite ending his endorsement deal with Buick one year early, Tiger Woods has decided to play in this week’s Buick Open at Warwick Hills, an event he has won twice in his career.  Unfortunately for the PGA, General Motors has decided to pull the plug on sponsoring the tournament, which means this year’s Buick Open will most likely be the last.

There’s been talk all over the internet (again) revolving around the infamous Tony Stewart and his contract with Joe Gibbs Racing. Smoke has been driving for JGR since 1998, and back in 2003 signed a six-year deal with the team that would put him there through the 2009 season.
