Antawn Jamison isn’t starting off the 2009-10 NBA season on the right foot — or shoulder, in this case. Due to a shoulder injury, Jamison will be out up to five weeks. He injured the season during preseason when he tried to block a shot on October 14th.

Health has been a problem for Gilbert Arenas in the last few years. The point guard for the Washington Wizards has played only 15 games over the last two seasons due to a multiple knee surgeries. Unfortunately, Arenas is hurt again.
Late in the offseason, Arenas injured his middle finger — later diagnosed as a dislocation. This week during Wizards training camp, he aggravated the finger injury. As a result, he was forced to sit out scrimmages.

Gilbert Arenas, who not too long ago was regarded as one of the best point guards in the NBA, played his first game of the season on Saturday night. The 27-year-old fan favorite for the Washington Wizards scored 15 points and dished out ten assists in his 2008-09 debut.
Not surprisingly, the 17-57 Wizards lost the game. However, the return of Arenas gave the team a chance. Gilbert Arenas has always been a little bit nutty. Combine that with a bunch of free time due to his various knee surgeries and we get the greatness that was recently revealed. Gilbert Arenas got a tattoo on his left hand to honor Barack Obama, the President-Elect of the United States of America.
